The month of April is dedicated to Landscape Architects and the beauty they incorporate in our communities. K&W celebrated our fine Landscape Architects by getting down and dirty and having a bean planting challenge. Landscape Architecture is an art and our employees embraced the challenges and had fun in the process.

Milton & Catherine Hershey Conservatory gets approval from Derry Township
The Hershey Gardens will soon be home to the Milton & Catherine Hershey Conservatory. Derry Township has approved the land development plan for the Conservatory. The Conservatory will be a new 15,000 square foot building which will include a butterfly atrium, a horticultural and educational wing, and welcome pavilion. The Conservatory is very unique because it will be showcasing butterflies from around the world throughout the year. K&W is proud to work with The Hershey Foundation and Capital Construction Management to bring this beautiful project to life.
K&W welcomes Mark Henry!
K&W Engineers is excited to announce the newest member of its team Mark W. Henry, Senior Technician. He studied AutoCAD at Carroll County Community College in Westminster, Maryland. Mark has more than 10 years experience working with AutoCAD in the civil engineering industry.

Woodward School to be demolished
K&W and McKissick Associates Architects clear the way for future development by demolishing unsafe Woodward School for the Harrisburg School District. Built in 1911 at 18th and Herr Streets, the building is unsafe and the Harrisburg School District will sell the land once the lot is vacated.
