New facility with dramatic façade welcomes new students and alumni home

Lombardo Welcome Center Renovation

A bright, new facade and expanded services welcome the Franklin and Marshall College community. The Office of Admissions and the Office of Alumni Relations have a new headquarters to showcase their programs and alumni successes. 

This building main focal point is the new exterior blue architectural mesh and ampersand. Renovation work also included improving visitor accessibility with better walkways, convenient parking and enhanced technology. Site lighting helps draw the eye to the building.

As the civil engineer for the project, K&W provided surveying, some grading and minor conveyance changes, and erosion control. The expansion was less than 1 acre, and site constraints were tight on the existing campus and main entrance.
