MILTON AND CATHERINE HERSHEY CONSERVATORY
The Hershey Gardens is one of the most beautiful and beloved sites in Central Pennsylvania. K&W worked with the Foundation and design team to create the new Milton and Catherine Hershey Conservatory that now serves as the visitor entrance to these historic grounds. The new facility features an indoor Butterfly Atrium, Welcome Pavilion, Horticultural & Educational Wing, overlook area and outdoor terrace.
Additional site improvements include new parking lots and extensive landscaping.
The entire project was carefully planned to enhance the visitor experience. Overlook areas provide impressive views of the town of Hershey, while the terrace allows guests to enjoy the iconic rose garden and Swan Lake. New walking paths encourage visitors to explore the gardens. K&W provided site design, permitting and approvals, landscape architecture, construction documents, and construction observation for new Conservatory.
