Planning for phased stadium construction minimizes disruptions and saves money for district

K&W worked with Donegal School District and their architect to create a plan for a future athletic stadium while designing their new high school campus. During the construction of the high school, the infrastructure needed for the stadium was put into place, including stormwater management, saving money and minimizing disruption to the campus later. We also controlled costs by lowering the entrance to the facility in relation to the adjacent parking lot to save the expense of hauling large amounts of excess dirt.

Creating the new stadium and school in an area prone to sink holes posed significant challenges. K&W provided all services required to take the stadium project from feasibility study through governmental approvals to completion.
