Senior Project Manager
Why Work At K&W? Because Life’s Too Short for Cookie-Cutter Sites.
If your idea of a great time is solving complex site challenges, pondering stormwater management, and watching a project go from dirt to done—welcome home!
You’ll Lead a Team That Knows Their Stuff.
Our team is a mix of engineers, landscape architects, and planners who treat grading plans like puzzle challenges and site design models like art. We take our work seriously—but never ourselves. Expect inside jokes, celebrating project wins, and team meetings hosted on balconies.
Hybrid Flexibility, But You Won’t Want to Miss the Office.
Yes, you can work from home. But our HQ is a 1920s mansion with riverfront views, and our team is actually fun to be around—so you’ll probably want to show up.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Keep a dozen plates spinning without letting one crash AKA managing multiple projects, deadlines, and budgets like a pro.
- Crack the land development code—from site layouts and grading to stormwater, utilities, and permitting.
- You’ll manage the design of places that you can drive your family past and say “I designed that”, like school campuses, hospitals, athletic facilities, amusement parks and government buildings.
- Work directly with the firm’s leadership to juggle project workloads and deadlines.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to craft site designs that actually work for clients (not just look good on paper).
- Present confidently to clients, community groups and municipal authorities to secure project approvals—because you’re comfortable owning the room.
- Support business development efforts by delivering excellent client service and helping with marketing outreach.
- Keep an eye on team performance and mentoring future rockstars.
What We Need from You:
- 10-15 years of experience running land development projects.
- Professional Engineer licensure in, at least, the Commonwealth of PA
- Professional communication skills—because clients need answers, not fluff.
- The ability to multitask under pressure without breaking a sweat (or the budget).
- A team-first mindset—we solve problems together.
The Work Setup:
- Hybrid: In-office at least 2 days a week (Tues-Thurs recommended), with the rest remote.
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9-hour shifts. Fridays? We’re out by NOON!
- Office culture: Think happy hours, office dogs, inside jokes, and lunch-hour picnics on waterfront decks.
Benefits:
- A competitive salary that will make it easier to get out of bed in the morning.
- 401(k) match
- Company paid Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Short / Long-term Disability Insurance
- Paid time off
- Paid holidays
- Year-end performance bonus
- Flexible schedule
