We’re thrilled to welcome Mindy Cooper, RLA, to the K&W Engineers team as a new Senior Landscape Architect.
Mindy brings more than 20 years of experience shaping communities, campuses, and public spaces in Texas. Her portfolio is as impressive as it is impactful and we couldn’t be more excited to bring her expertise to Pennsylvania.
Mindy has led three major downtown redevelopment initiatives with Texas communities, helping re‑envision central districts. She has also partnered on unique P3 initiatives, one with Austin Community College, helping transform a 20–30 acre mall site into a mixed‑use academic, civic, residential, retail, and parks destination — a true model for future campus‑community integration.
Mindy is a former adjunct professor at Penn State, a former AIA Austin Chair, and an elected member of PSU’s APG Alumni Board. She was also honored with a Penn State Alumni Award from The College of Arts and Architecture in 2024, recognizing her contributions to the profession and the communities she serves. She has also presented at more than 10 speaking engagements, providing leadership insights in the world of Landscape Architecture.
