5th Annual K&W TecPort 5K Run/Walk Introduction

Help us celebrate the 5th year of the K&W TecPort 5K Run/Walk for charity. On Saturday, June 25, 2011, K&W Engineers and Consultants and Crossgates, Inc., along with Platinum Sponsors Covanta Energy and First National Bank of PA, will once again host this exciting event. We are striving to make this Year, a banner year. The event promises to once again be filled with fun, food, and prizes. Local radio stations and celebrities will provide music and entertainment.

Our efforts to provide support for those struggling to overcome life’s challenges have proven successful over the past four years. In excess of $23,000.00 has been raised and donated to two neighboring social service agencies; Gaudenzia, Inc., a leading non-profit provider of drug and alcohol treatment in the Commonwealth, and the PROGRAM "It’s About Change", a non-profit human service agency with a mission of providing comprehensive services and programming for women and children to assist them in rebuilding their lives. Cash prizes will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place male and female finishers in each adult age and gender group. $100 for 1st place and $50 for 2nd place!

Participant registration is 7:45-8:45 a.m.; run begins at 9:00 a.m.; walk begins at 9:05 a.m.
